Utility Driver

$1,000. Sign on BonusWe are looking for a Utility Driver to join us at our Newport location. The Utility Driver will be trained to work with a variety of vehicles (box truck, pickup truck, and pump truck). As a Utility driver, your job will consist of lifting, pushing and pulling items of up to 100lbs on a regular basis. There may be periods of non-driving where you will be working at the depot operating hand tools, pressure washers and other equipment. OT is available with Manager approval.Starting hourly rate $30-$31.50 an hour with weekly pay.Sign on bonus to be paid out in two equal installments. First payment of $500 paid after 6 months of employment and second payment of $500 after one year of employment. What you'll do:Operate box truck or pick up to drop off containersOperate forklift to load or unload trucksOperate pump truck and handle 2-3 inch hoses pumping out UCO unto truck. Clean area around tanksWashing trucks and other equipmentProviding maintenance on containers, (pressure washing, assembling and repainting)Retrieving and delivering trucks to vendors for repairPerform other duties as assignedWhat you need: A valid Class A or B CDL. 3 years of CDL driving experienceAir Brake and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to get Tanker Endorsement prior to start date)Good driving record.
