The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable.\nLocation 4313-Vertiv-Georgetown, 1804 Aviation Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628, USA\nBenefits Access to low-cost health and other insurance products\nBereavement and jury duty pay\nUniforms furnished to officers at no cost\nLongevity awards and safety incentives\nOpportunity for Advancement\nAssistance in applying for and obtaining a state license to work as security guard (where required)\nResponsibilities Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.\nFill out reports with a high level of detail.\nMake weekly schedules.\nReview reports and communicate effectively.\nProficient with computer.\nThoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.\nWarn violators of premise rules and regulations.\nReport facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.\nRequest emergency personnel for high-risk situations.\nUse the supplied software to annotate events that occur during shift.\nMake regular patrols around the property and scan predetermined points as directed by management.\nWork as part of a team.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related fields\nFamiliarity with security equipment\nAbility to handle a light physical workload; ability to stand and/or walk patrols\nStrong attention to detail\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMeet and continuously maintain grooming standards\nHave a reliable means of transportation\nEqual Opportunity GDI, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
