You will be the technical lead for these activities in the US while also working with Egis’s RAMS and safety assurance engineering departments across the globe.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide your technical and organizational expertise for the projects in which you will be involved.\nPerform RAMS analysis such as Safety Management Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Interface Hazard Analysis, Hazard Log, SIL Allocation, RAM Allocation.\nControl and validate the conformity of the RAMS documentation produced.\nSupport the development of safety cases and safety justification reports for regulatory submission.\nEnsure RAMS activities comply with EN 50126, EN 50716, EN 50129, NFPA 130, and applicable local regulatory frameworks.\nParticipate in design reviews to verify RAMS requirements are embedded into system and subsystem specifications.\nProvide independent and professional assessment that subway systems meet all applicable safety requirements and are fit for their intended operational environment.\nPlan and execute assessment activities, including reviews of hazard analyses, safety cases, system design, testing documentation, and verification and validation (V&V) evidence.\nConduct safety audits, prepare detailed audit reports, and track resolution of findings to closure.\n\nWhat do we need from you\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:\nAuthorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship is being considered for this role).\nGraduate Engineer with at least 10 years’ experience in the field of systems safety assurance.\nExperience of delivering safety assurance activities in a rail environment, in design and build projects.\nKnowledge and experience in the use of international Safety standards EN 50126, EN 50716, EN 50129, NFPA 130.\nPractical experience conducting hazard analysis, risk assessment, SIL requirements and contributing to safety case development.\nKnowledge and experience in Subway signaling systems, such as CBTC and Solid State Interlocking.\nKnowledge and experience in Independent Safety Assessment (ISA), ideally on subway projects.\nYou enjoy mentoring and developing others. You want to pass your technical skills and knowledge to your team.\nExcellent communication skills.\nFluent in English at professional level.
