Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.\n\nBase pay range\n$62.00/hr - $72.00/hr\n\nDirect message the job poster from The Mice Groups, Inc.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nConduct virtual validation of ADAS/AD driving, safety & parking functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Highway Assist, Lane Change Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Protection, Automated Parking, etc.\n\nCreate and update virtual models and simulation setups; develop and execute scenarios for feature validation at vehicle level; post-process results; generate reports; discuss and present findings to ADAS leadership.\n\nDevelop pre- and post-processing scripts, select scenarios, and map validation cases to feature requirements, ensuring model fidelity.\n\nCorrelate virtual modeling results with actual vehicle test data as needed for different fidelity models.\n\nUtilize state-of-the-art processes and tools in a collaborative environment.\n\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams such as ADAS software, vehicle chassis, powertrain, and infotainment for validation and development activities.\n\nWork with suppliers and represent the ADAS validation team.\n\nExplore approaches like HIL, SIL, and Vehicle-In-Loop for virtual validation.\n\nDevelop and execute virtual validation test plans on high-performance computers or cloud platforms.\n\nExperience with ADAS virtual simulation tools (e.g., IPG CarMaker, Applied Intuition, CARLA, CarSim, Ansys, Simens) and HIL systems.\n\nUnderstanding of Open Scenario format.\n\nExperience with ADAS features in mass production, working with automotive Tier 1/2 suppliers or OEMs.\n\nProgramming skills (Python, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink) for automation and post-processing.\n\nDemonstrate creativity and ownership in project completion within innovative environments.\n\nExcellent communication skills.\n\nAdvantages:\n\nExperience simulating ADAS/AD features at OEM or Tier 1.\n\nModel development and correlation experience, especially on cloud platforms.\n\nOn-road testing experience for ADAS features.\n\nKnowledge of SOTIF, ISO 26262, NCAP standards.\n\nUnderstanding of mechanical, electrical, and software interactions within ADAS/AD systems.\n\nExperience with Vector tools: CANoe, CANape, CAPL.\n\nProficiency with agile tools (Jira, Jama, etc.).\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n\nBSc in System, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, with 2+ years in automotive engineering.\n\nOr MSc in the same fields.\n\nApplicants should apply via The Mice Groups Inc. website (www.MiceGroups.com) or through this job posting.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
