The Assembler role is part of the manufacturing team and performs a wide variety of production operations, and you will have the opportunity to be a key part of the production process. Depending on your assigned department, your work may include precision assembly, operating automated or manual manufacturing equipment, chemical processing, testing, or other specialized manufacturing processes. You will work closely with other assemblers, manufacturing\ntechnicians and production supervisors. Training provided, if you are willing to learn then no experience necessary! The Assembler is a full-time, temporary to hire position in Minneapolis, MN.\nAssembler Job Responsibilities:\nManufacture high-quality products by assembling components, operating production equipment, and following established work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements.\nOperate a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes, which may include assembly stations, presses, lasers, autoclaves, chemical processing equipment, drilling, plating, etching, welding,\nsoldering, microscopes, and other specialized tools depending on your assigned work area.\nPerform quality inspections to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.\nAccurately complete production documentation and enter information related to materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and manufacturing activities into company systems.\nIdentify quality, equipment, or process issues and communicate them promptly to your lead or supervisor to help ensure only conforming products are shipped.\nSupport operations by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and standard work.\nCross-train in multiple operations, equipment, and product lines to support business needs and expand your skills.\nSafely operate tools, equipment, and materials while following all safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.\nAssembler Job Requirements & Working Conditions:\nAbility to read, understand, write and speak English at an 8th grade level\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nWillingness to learn\nExperience in a manufacturing/assembly environment preferred\nAbility to pass an eye exam (with or without correction) to meet requirements for Near and Color Vision\nProof of US Citizenship or US work authorization required\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOne or more years of experience within a manufacturing environment\nPrevious experience in welding, fine wire assembly and lamination\nPrevious experience managing chemical additives and bath maintenance\nExperience with potting chemicals\nProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel\nContinuous Improvement training or experience\nMachine maintenance experience\nJ-Standard Certified\nPrideStaff Hiring Requirements:\nMust be 18+ Years Old\nMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check\nMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen\nMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.\nEnhance your career with a full-time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
