Child and Family Therapist Supervisor
Location/Schedule: Full-Time; onsite position located in Crossnore, NC (Avery Campus). Typical hours are 1st shift, Monday-Friday. Participation in an on-call rotation, and providing after-hours on-call support to staff within the team.
Your Impact: As a Child and Family Therapist Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role in helping children and families heal from trauma and build resilience. This position provides clinical and administrative supervision to therapists serving youth and families across residential, outpatient, and community-based settings. Through trauma-informed leadership, evidence-based practices, and strong clinical support, you will help ensure high-quality care while mentoring clinicians and strengthening Crossnore's mission to create safe, healthy, and hopeful futures for children and families.
Education/Experience/Licensure:
Master's Degree in Social Work or related Human Services field.
Fully Licensed (North Carolina) therapist in good standing with no licensure restrictions, whose professional licensure authorizes them to diagnose mental illnesses and/or addictive disorders (LCSW, LMCHC, or LMFT required).
3+ years experience as a counselor working with children and families required, preferably in a mental health, residential, day treatment, or substance abuse treatment setting.
2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
Certification in at least one to two EBPs highly preferred (i.e. TF-CBT, EMDR, CBT, DBT, etc.)
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Hiring Range: $62,000 to $70,000 annually - Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet only the minimum requirements can expect to start at the beginning of the range, while those with additional and relevant experience and/or advanced skills may be considered for higher starting pay within the range.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to assigned clinicians
Support staff growth through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance feedback
Monitor caseloads, productivity expectations, documentation quality, and service delivery standards
Provide clinical consultation, case reviews, and guidance regarding treatment planning and interventions
Facilitate group supervision, case conferences, and clinical staff meetings
Maintain a small clinical caseload including assessments, individual therapy, family therapy, and group counseling
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule providing crisis support and clinical guidance
Ensure compliance with agency policies, Medicaid standards, licensing requirements, and accreditation expectations
Promote evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic practices across programs
Collaborate with families, schools, referral sources, and community partners to support client care
Assist with admissions support, program development, and quality improvement initiatives
Foster a safe, inclusive, and healing-centered environment aligned with Sanctuary Model principles
