The PM will manage a complex multi-year, fast paced, highly dynamic environment of ~25 employees and subcontractors providing engineering support to a government customer. The PM will plan, direct, and schedule the timely and successful completion of the tasks required in the contract statement of work. The PM will interface with all levels of customer and Leidos management, and must provide the leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to lead, direct, and manage a complex program.\n\nPrimary Roles and Responsibilities\n\nServe as the primary focal point for contract performance to include: technical, staffing, cost, schedule, security, and allocation of appropriate skill mix assigned to taskings and contract deliverables.\n\nEnsure vacancies are filled quickly with qualified and cleared personnel\n\nMaintain a professional, performance-oriented program\n\nEnsure personnel maintain the required levels of expertise and competency across all assignments while staying current with rapidly evolving technologies\n\nIdentify and schedule technical personnel against assigned tasks and ensure on-time delivery\n\nWork closely with program and customer personnel to ensure all contract deliverables and requirements are completed and delivered on time and to standard\n\nMaintain, assess, and update all program processes and procedures to ensure they remain in line with program and customer requirements\n\nEnsure all program and customer personnel are aware of and understand program processes and procedures\n\nTrack, manage, and control costs and labor hours\n\nMake complex/difficult financial, business, and personnel decisions with outcomes in the best interest of the employees, company, and customer\n\nCoordinate, track, and report on all procurement activities\n\nCoordinate, track, and report on all travel activities\n\nManage subcontractors\n\nMeet financial commitments in revenue and fee for the organization\n\nRequired Clearance\nMust possess a TS/SCI Polygraph for consideration.\n\nRequired Education, Skills, and Experience\n\nBachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience. Work experience can be used in lieu of degree/combined with education\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience leading and managing contractor personnel and deliverables under a contract of similar scope within the last 10 years\n\nExperience with requirements documentation, assessing customer requirements, identifying dependencies, and developing responsive project plans\n\nDemonstrated experience in a government operating environment\n\nExperience leading contractor teams, including subcontractors, in a government operating environment.\n\nExperience leading and managing diverse workforce. Strong track record of organizational leadership and business management, including strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills\n\nOutstanding verbal and written communications skills\n\nAbility to partner with company support personnel to include project control, finance, contracts, subcontracts, HR, talent acquisition, and business development to effectively manage and grow the program\n\nAbility to establish an effective working relationship with program, company, and customer personnel and managers\n\nAbility to motivate employees and ensure engagement\n\nUnderstanding of industry standard and best practices related to project and program management\n\nDemonstrated ability to partner with HR to proactively identify, manage, and address performance concerns in a timely, professional, and consistent manner\n\nDesired Qualifications\n\nDemonstrated experience with technical operations\n\nDemonstrated ability to estimate costs and other resources using quantitative analysis to project requirements\n\nDemonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic plans\n\nDemonstrated experience implementing process improvements to include the Lean Six Sigma methodology\n\nExperience overseeing mission IT operations\n\nExperience working in manufacturing environments\n\nMasters of Science degree or equivalent professional experience\n\nPMP certification\n\nPay Range\nPay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00\n\nThe Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
