What’s in it for you:
Competitive base salary range of $40,000-$50,000 with an unlimited commission structure.
Base plus Day One, Dollar One Commission Plan. The average projected commission is estimated in the range of $5,000-$10,000 per year, or more for a star performer.

Responsibilities:
Sourcing and procuring qualified carriers, qualifying prospective carriers with respect to compliance and performance criteria.
Preparing approved rate quotations that meet profit objectives and negotiating rates with carriers
Selling freight to carrier partners and booking them while entering all relevant data in the Transportation Management System (TMS) according to HTL procedures, maintaining technical and computer skills
Tracking and reporting accurate and up-to-date shipment statuses to customers
Establishing and maintaining relationships with carriers to expand opportunities with current and new customers
Handling dispatch as assigned and performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
Maintaining an awareness of business and market-related trends, including new product or service offerings; determining the impact of any changes or activities that could affect the company.
Qualifications:
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
Previous experience in logistics or customer service is a plus, but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (i.e., phone, video, email).
Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Teams, GSuite, etc.) and the ability to learn and navigate industry-based software.
The ability to cope with pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Proven experience at working well independently and collaboratively with a team.
