{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8ec85655c75fa5babe5d7f8e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8ec85655c75fa5babe5d7f8e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8ec85655c75fa5babe5d7f8e","title":"Electrical Project Engineer (PE), Electronics and PLC’s","description":"Electrical Project Engineer\nFlexStaff is seeking an Electrical Project Engineerfor our Client, a leading global manufacturer, located in Hudson Valley Region, NY.\n\nPerks\n\nHybrid schedule after the probation period: 1 remote day per week + flexible/staggered hours for better work–life balance\n\nSummer Fridays year-round (early finish every Friday)\n\nExcellent health insurance: premiums as low as $26.60/month for individual coverage and $66.60/month with a dependent\n\nIn this role you will beserving as a primary point of customer contact for all project technical issues, and responsible for seeing a project through from proposal to completion of startup\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Power Systems.\n\nKnowledge of Programming languages such as ladder logic, assembly, Visual C++, etc.\n\nExperience with electronics, instrumentation, and PLC’s in industrial applications\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOwn engineering delivery for assigned system projects, ensuring compliance with specs, codes, and industry standards.\n\nPartner with the Project Manager to build detailed schedules and coordinate resources.\n\nCollaborate with engineers, PMs, and service teams to define requirements and support testing/implementation.\n\nServe as the primary technical customer interface throughout the project.\n\nPrepare project closeout materials (punch list and closeout report).\n\nDrive corrective actions per the company procedures.\n\nInterpret vendor drawings and other technical documents.\n\nDevelop and approve technical submittals, drawings, and specifications; work with Drafting on customer-specific control system drawings.\n\nLead design reviews with Drafting, Production, and Engineering to ensure compliance with the company standards.\n\nCreate MOPs for FAT, site start-up, and SAT; obtain customer approval.\n\nSupport field technicians during startup, testing, and troubleshooting of power system controls.\n\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\n\nAdditional Salary Detail\nThe salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
