We offer flexible part-time scheduling and a supportive, collaborative environment where you can build meaningful relationships with children and families while working under the supervision of a licensed SLP.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs.\n* Support the implementation of speech-language therapy plans, including exercises targeting speech disorders, language delays, and communication challenges.\n* Work directly with children and students, including those with disabilities, to promote language development and improve communication skills.\n* Collaborate with educators, therapists, parents, and other team members to develop and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy goals.\n* Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote speech therapy services when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care.\n* Maintain detailed documentation of therapy activities, progress notes, and client communication records in compliance with organizational policies.\n* Support clients with physiology and anatomy knowledge to enhance understanding of speech mechanisms and disorders.\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* Prior experience working with children, students with disabilities, or in pediatric settings is highly preferred.\n* Knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, including speech disorders support, language disorders support, and early intervention strategies.\n* Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech therapy and anatomy knowledge relevant to speech production.\n* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams in speech-language pathology or related fields is advantageous.\n* Acute care experience or school experience supporting children with diverse needs is a plus.\n* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and healthcare professionals; bilingual skills are a valuable asset.\n* Strong understanding of child language development processes and familiarity with IEP procedures.\n\nJoin us in empowering children through effective communication!
