Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\n\nResponsibilities for this Position:\nROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:\n\nAs a Operations and Maintenance Senior Systems Engineer for the Nuclear Monitoring Program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the operations, maintenance and sustainment of an international network of radionuclide monitoring stations. The Nuclear Monitoring Program provides remote and on-site troubleshooting support for a network of radionuclide monitoring stations for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).\n\nWe encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:\nPast experience in managing and executing projects\nAbility to travel to domestic and international locations to maintain/repair fielded systems (Trips are typically 1-4 weeks long)\nBuild, test, and evaluate new electrical/mechanical equipment and sensors in an engineering test bed at our Chantilly, VA office\n\nWhat sets you apart:\nKnowledge of Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, nuclear sensor technology, spectroscopy, noble gas science and data acquisition\nKnowledge of basic electrical and mechanical skills is necessary.
