{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8e99dbf0b87cb0b3f4db5f3c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8e99dbf0b87cb0b3f4db5f3c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8e99dbf0b87cb0b3f4db5f3c","title":"Cloud Infrastructure Engineer using Terraform and AWS","description":"Cloud Infrastructure Engineer using Terraform and AWS Location: Delaware (Hybrid role, 3 days office, 2 days remote)Duration: Long-TermWe’re looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Terraform and AWS to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).Build and maintain reusable, versioned Terraform modules following best practices.Manage Terraform state securely (S3 backend, DynamoDB or native locking, workspaces).Provision and manage AWS services such as VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, Route 53, ALB/NLB, and CloudFront.Integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline) with automated plan, validate, and apply workflows.Implement security and compliance controls: least-privilege IAM, encryption, security groups, KMS, and policy-as-code (Sentinel, OPA, or Checkov).Monitor and optimize infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost.Manage multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organizations, Control Tower, SCPs).Detect and remediate configuration drift, and support Terraform version and provider upgrades.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and participate in incident response.Document architecture, standards, and runbooks;
