Role Name: Vulnerability Management LeadLocation: Washington, DC (Hybrid)Duration: Full TimeSecurity Clearance: Public Trust Clearance OR TSIVisa: Need Green Card and US Citizens OnlyJob Description:Vulnerability Management Lead responsible for coordination of vulnerability tracking, remediation support, reporting, trend analysis, and integration of vulnerability management activities into overall risk and compliance support.Manage, configure, and optimize automated vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable) across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.Coordinate the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle: discovery, verification, prioritization, assignment, and closure.Maintain and curate the vulnerability backlog, ensuring all discovered risks are properly logged and categorized.Provide actionable, technical recommendations, patch deployment guidance, and workaround solutions for complex vulnerabilities.3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically focused on vulnerability management, application security, or systems engineering.Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams without direct authority.Exceptional ability to translate complex, technical vulnerabilities into clear, risk-based language for non-technical stakeholders.Analytical mindset with a knack for root-cause analysis and identifying long-term systemic fixes rather than just quick patches.Thanks & RegardsBhavesh Sharmabhavesh@applabsystems.com
