Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Tendercare ABA is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As a Behavior Technician or RBT you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy and support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities.
Role and Responsibilities
The primary role is to provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities across home, school and daycare settings.
Key duties include:
Following prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
Collecting daily data and completing daily session notes using the Rethink data collection system.
Supporting challenging behavior.
Communicating client progress with parents/caregivers (with BCBA guidance).
Accepting and implementing regular feedback from supervisors.
Attending to basic needs like feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing.
Schedule and Location
Hours: Monday–Friday, (no weekends).
Full-Time: 35–40 hours per week, supporting 1–2 learners.
Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week, supporting 1 learner. Minimum availability is 20 hours/week (M-F).
Location: In-person services at Homes, Daycares, and Schools
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications
Age 18+ and a High-school degree or equivalent.
Valid RBT certification OR the ability to obtain it (the company will pay for certification if you don't have it yet).
Must pass state and federal background checks.
Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid Ohio driver's license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods
