This site will be repurposed to provide RV sites for construction workforce housing and serve as a contractor staging area. The NPS plans to rehabilitate or replace infrastructure and utility systems to support these RV sites, implementing best practices for RV-based campground design to enhance natural and cultural resource protection.\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:\n\nProvide technical assistance and support to CO during construction\nRead, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications\nArrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site\nDocument issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor\nReview contractor's baseline and progress schedules\nDraft project related correspondence for NPS to review\nUnderstand and document inspections during and post construction as well as mock-up inspections\nInspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards\nDeliver reports, reviews, evaluations, design work, etc. to CO\nReview and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up\n\nRequired Education, Knowledge and Skills:\n\nEducation and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, and engineering\nExperience in construction projects with similar scope, complexity, and magnitude\nExperience in oversight of utility-based construction projects\nOSHA 30-hour construction safety training preferred\nKnowledge and experience with construction practices including applicable building codes, applicable safety regulations\nKnowledge of cost estimating with breakdown of labor, materials and equipment costs for proposed construction contract modifications\nAbility to evaluate payment requests\nAbility to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications\nWritten and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills\nKnowledge of software including MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, ProjectTeam, Primavera, MS Project, and any other software programs typically utilized\nAbility to maintain a valid driver's license\nAbility to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment\nAbility to walk and climb stairs or ladders on a daily basis to observe and inspect contract performance\n\n What Does PSI Offer You?\n\nThree options for medical plans plus offered dental, and vision insurance\n24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenience\nHSA\nCompany life insurance options for you and your family\nShort-term and long-term disability offerings\nPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs\n401(k) with a 4% employer match\nGenerous PTO, paid-federal holidays, and sick leave.\nAlways the opportunity for professional development\n\n The information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
