PACU Nurse (FT/PT) Sign on bonus & Relocation Assistance! Full-Time (FT): 36 hrs/wk, Variable Hours/Days (Includes weekends, weekdays, holidays, and on-call requirement) Part-Time (PT): 24 hrs/wk, 8/12 hr shifts, 2-3 days/wk (Includes 1-2 night shifts per week and every 7th-8th weekend) Job Description: We are looking for dedicated Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurses to join our team. The PACU Nurse will provide exceptional nursing care to patients immediately following various anesthesia methods post-procedure, including C-Sections. This position requires excellent multisystem assessment skills, critical thinking, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery and procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs and post-operative recovery. Work closely with anesthesia providers to ensure safe and efficient recovery for patients. Assist with second scrub duties during procedures when necessary. Deliver compassionate care to patients of varying age groups and medical conditions. Requirements: Current Nebraska RN license. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. Preferred experience in ICU or ER; will also consider Med/Surg experience. Strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
