This is a 2nd Shift position (Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm) at our Houston location. As a Burn Table Operator , you'll operate advance machinery to cut steel plates according to detailed specifications. You’ll determine cutting sequences, select tooling, and ensure every part meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and safety.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nSelect and design appropriate cutting tools as needed for each job.\n\nTest program to ensure machining operations comply with print and specifications.\n\nEnsure proper CNC program details are set-up for operator to run the assigned work order.\n\nInterpret blueprints, drawings, and cut sheets to ensure accurate material cutting.\n\nMaintain high standards of quality control and visual inspection during and after cutting.\n\nKeep your work area organized and clean , contributing to a safe, productive workspace.\n\nFollow all safety guidelines and company procedures .\n\nPerform additional tasks and duties as assigned by your supervisor.\n\nRequirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\n2–3 years of experience operating CNC machinery, with Oxy, Plasma or Laser experience preferred.\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.\n\nExcellent attention to detail—you take pride in precision.\n\nAbility to read tape measurements down to 1/16th - high importance.\n\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, safety rules, and production schedules.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new or changing variables.\n\nComfortable working on your feet for extended periods, and regularly lifting 25–50 lbs.\n\nCapable of kneeling, bending, and operating hand and power tools throughout the shift.\n\nA strong team player who communicates clearly and works well across departments.\n\nPrevious experience in heavy industry or structural steel fabrication is a plus.\n\nWhy You'll Love Working Here:\n\nEmployee-Owned – Your hard work builds your future.
