The Bilingual KEEP Group Leader leads 16-week groups in English and Spanish that take place online via videoconference. Each weekly session is 90 minutes and is a blend of peer-support and manualized curriculum. All KEEP sessions are recorded for model fidelity and coaching support. Prior to running the groups, KEEP Group Leaders will participate in a 5-day training on the KEEP model with trainers from Oregon Social Learning Center Developments, Inc. (ODI). The KEEP Group Leader will be responsible for communicating with participating families prior to and during KEEP groups, facilitating evening KEEP group sessions in English and Spanish, attending weekly coaching with ODI, and completing project data entry promptly and accurately.\n\nEquipment such as a laptop may be provided, although the employee is expected to maintain adequate Internet and Wi-Fi equipment suitable to Remote Desktop connect via VPN.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAttends KEEP trainings, including mandatory training October 21st-25th 9am-1pm\nWorks with the KEEP recruiter to schedule KEEP groups (sometimes multiple concurrent groups at once, depending on program needs)\nEngages participants post-recruitment prior to KEEP group start\nRuns KEEP group sessions for foster and kinship parents (90-minute weekly sessions) in English and Spanish and make-up sessions\nCompletes the weekly Parent Daily Report (PDR) phone call with each household and enters PDR data into the fidelity website (FIDO)\nPrepares for each session by reviewing the manual material, coaching feedback, and the group’s PDRs.\nSets up the Zoom meeting prior to foster/kinship parents’ arrival, e.g., setting the video to record, having handouts available for Zoom presentation\nSends reminder email to participants each week before session\nUploads all KEEP session videos to FIDO immediately after each session\nEnters session data into FIDO (attendance, engagement ratings, self-evaluation) immediately after each session\nPrepares for and attends weekly KEEP coaching and clinical meetings\n\nOther Duties and Responsibilities\nOther project-related tasks as needed\n\nBehavioral Competencies\nStrong social and time management skills\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills\nWork is monitored regularly; requires a significant level of interpretive judgment; will make some independent decisions or choices between existing methods and procedures\nFlexibility is required in regard to work schedule and time; must be available to accommodate the scheduling needs of participants\n\nQualifications and Experience\nBA/BS degree with coursework appropriate to the position and 2-years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience appropriate to the position\nExperience working with populations with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nBilingual in English and Spanish\nSkilled with the use of computers and other modern office equipment\nDetail oriented with a high level of attention to detail\nWillingness to role-play, try new skills, and be receptive to feedback\nPrior group facilitation experience\nExperience delivering an evidence-based practice\nKnowledge of the child welfare system, especially foster care, preferred\nExperience and comfort with virtual meeting technology preferred\n\nPhysical, Mental, and Visual Demands\nMust be an active listener\nMust follow a manualized curriculum\nMust type or otherwise input data into a computer\nMay need to sit for periods of time (3-4 hours)\nProficient in interpreting both spoken and written communication in English and Spanish\n\nEquipment, tools, machines used while performing job\nLaptop computer\nCell phone\nVirtual meeting platforms\n\nVehicles or moving equipment used while performing the job\nNA\n\nStandards/Expectations for person performing the job.\nAfter completion of training period employee must deliver KEEP groups according to model fidelity.
