The selected candidates for this position can be located in either Centennial, CO, or Houston, TX.\nKey Duties:\nCreate automation tools to perform development and testing tasks using Python.\nIntegrate tools with existing tools and those from, for example, Atlassian (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.).\nWork with stakeholders to guide the design and development of automation tools.\nDevelop and maintain the flight software.\nMake changes to existing flight software.\nWrite and perform unit tests on the changes.\nConduct software peer reviews.\nDevelop and run integration tests.\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nDue to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible for consideration at this time.\n2 or more years of experience developing automation tools.\nStrong software debugging skills.\nDemonstrated ability to write technical reports.\nExperience interpreting formal requirement specifications.\nAbility to support occasional travel to Houston, TX or Centennial, CO.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nExperience working in an SAFe/Agile environment.\nStrong experience with Python.\nExperience with embedded systems and hardware in the loop simulations.\nFamiliarity with Ada, C++, and Fortran programming languages.\nFamiliarity with machine learning and large language model applications.\nAbility to work well in a remote/hybrid team environment.\nAerospace experience.\nBusiness Profile:\nCimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
