You will serve as the owner of program execution—driving clarity, alignment, predictability, and accountability across engineering, production, security and program office.\r\nIn this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex, cutting edge, never before operated missile defense system, managing risk proactively, and leading programs through ambiguity. You will operate at the intersection of technical execution and program leadership, maintaining authority over delivery plans, escalation paths, and cross-functional dependencies.\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES\r\nLead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of program sprints, for True Anomaly's missile defense program.\r\nOwn program execution: define delivery plans, manage scope and milestones, and drive accountability across engineering and cross-functional teams.\r\nServe as the primary delivery interface with internal engineering and program office on the execution of the program, compiling metrics on program health and status.\r\nTranslate product requirements into actionable technical plans in partnership with engineering, ensuring alignment with engineering architecture and mission needs.\r\nParticipate in architectural discussions, highlighting risks, identifying gaps, and ensuring decisions support delivery timelines, security posture, and system reliability.\r\nManage and resolve cross-team dependencies across engineering, production, security and program office; maintain a real-time dependency map for all initiatives.\r\nTrack program performance using execution metrics (velocity, predictability, defect trends, release readiness) and drive continuous improvement.\r\nProactively identify and manage risks, tradeoffs, and blockers; escape and recommend decisions when schedule, scope, or resources misalign.\r\nThrive in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment, creating structure, clarity, and alignment where needed.\r\nMaintain program dashboards ensuring key stakeholders have the most up to date information available to inform decisions.\r\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\r\n5+ years of experience in program management in relevant technical fields.\r\nStrong technical understanding of a relevant space defense system (satellites, missile, rockets, engines, etc.)\r\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, and other software tracking tools.\r\nDeep familiarity with Agile / Scrum / Kanban processes.\r\nExceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical partners.\r\nExperience working classified DoW programs or relevant background.\r\nSecret Clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.\r\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\r\nPowerBI or other relevant data visualization tools.\r\nBackground in engineering, computer science or a related technical field.\r\nPMP or Agile certification is a plus.\r\nCOMPENSATION\r\nBase Salary: $120,000 - $160,000\r\nEquity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave.\r\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\r\nADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS\r\nWork Location : This role is at Long Beach, CA OR Washington DC OR Denver, CO\r\nTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\r\nTrue Anomaly is committed to equal employment opportunity on any basis protected by applicable state and federal laws.
