Part-time Pulpit Rabbi

Description of the Membership Congregation Beth Shalom of Brandon is a small Reform congregation of 45 families and/or individual members. We have members in the greater Brandon area as well as Eastern and Southern Hillsborough County. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism and are seeking a Rabbi dedicated to Jewish values. Role Description This is a part-time on-site pulpit Rabbi job. As a Rabbi, you will be responsible for Shabbat services, providing spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, Jewish education, theology, and pastoral care to our community members. Qualifications Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Counseling skills Jewish Education and Theology expertise Pastoral Care capabilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work part-time on-site in Brandon, FL Experience in leading religious services and ceremonies Relevant education in theology, divinity, or related field Job Type: Part-time Pay: $32,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year Expected hours: 48 – 72 per week Schedule: Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Education: Master's (Preferred) Experience: Pulpit Rabbi: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
