IT Business Analyst Back Office - Equities
ContextYou will join a Global Markets IT team supporting Equities activities, with a strong focus on Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending. The role sits at the crossroads between Front Office booking systems and post-trade environments, requiring a solid understanding of the full trade lifecycle from booking to settlement.The team operates in an Agile environment and covers both production support and project delivery, working closely with Front Office, Risk, and Operations stakeholders on business-critical applications.The role requires strong exposure to booking, P&L and risk flows, combined with solid knowledge of post-trade processes including settlement, accounting, and STP.RoleAct as a key interface between Front Office, Operations, Risk, and IT teamsGather and analyze business requirements across booking, P&L, and post-trade workflowsPerform impact analysis and propose functional solutionsWrite detailed functional specifications for development teamsCoordinate development lifecycle and testing phases (UAT)Contribute to project delivery, planning, and stakeholder communicationProvide day-to-day support on booking systems, P&L, risk, and post-trade processesEnsure stability and performance of business-critical applicationsProfile5–12 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Investment Banking / Financial ServicesStrong knowledge of Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending / Stock Borrow LoanStrong understanding of booking, P&L, and post-trade workflowsExperience with Sophis or similar systems (Murex, Calypso)Knowledge of back-office systems (Summit, Phase3, Shadow, etc.) is a plusStrong SQL skills (database querying)Understanding of data flows / batch processingStrong analytical skills and ability to interact with Front Office and OperationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
