Operator","description":"Warehouse Operators are the heart of our distribution centers and are responsible for moving, stocking, receiving, and packing in and outbound shipments as well as assisting in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities*\nOperate heavy equipment to move or store inventory\nReceive and process incoming materials and packages\nSort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location\nAccurately pick and fill customer orders from stock\nMove inventory throughout the facility\nPrepare products for delivery (freight, UPS, FedEx)\nPackage items and ensure they’re labeled correctly\nReport damaged or missing inventory\nData entry tasks that must be done in a timely and accurate manner\nPerform cycle counts and assist with inventory as needed\nProvides backup to Warehouse Manager when needed\nContribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures\nMaintain a clean, safe environment\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPrevious experience (3+ years) in a warehouse environment\nHazardous material handling experience preferred\nLogistics & Supply Chain experience preferred\nFamiliarity with inventory software and able to enter data in an accurate, timely manner\nFunctional knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Word required\nDemonstrated teamwork, productivity, accuracy, dedication, and professionalism\nAbility and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems\nValid driver’s license\nTow motor certification required\nSelf-motivated, independent, flexible, creative, and responsible\nStrong calculation, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nMust be very detail oriented and meticulous in how work is performed\nProficient use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization\nSelf‐motivated, high energy, and engaging level of enthusiasm and positive outlook\nAct legally and ethically in all professional relationships in adherence with Barentz’ purpose, strategies, and
