You will own complex projects from concept through completion, working directly with engineering, production, contractors, and leadership in a fast-paced industrial environment.\r\nWhat you’ll doLead manufacturing expansions, infrastructure upgrades, office buildouts, and future factory construction from planning through commissioning and handover.\r\nOwn project scope, budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, procurement, change control, and risk management across multiple concurrent projects.\r\nManage architects, engineering consultants, contractors, and vendors through design, permitting, construction, and closeout.\r\nPartner with Engineering, Production, EHS, IT, and Finance to translate operational requirements into executable construction plans.\r\nCoordinate industrial utility installations, manufacturing equipment infrastructure, and construction activities while minimizing production disruptions.\r\nDrive design revisions, RFIs, contractor performance, project reporting, and timely resolution of construction issues.\r\nCoordinate commissioning, inspections, punch lists, as-built documentation, and formal project handover to operations.\r\nWhat you’ll need5+ years managing industrial, manufacturing, or technically complex commercial construction projects.\r\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.\r\nExperience managing contractors, capital budgets, schedules, permitting, and construction documentation.\r\nWorking knowledge of MEP systems, industrial utilities, electrical distribution, HVAC, and life-safety infrastructure.\r\nAbility to manage multiple projects, make independent decisions, and drive cross-functional execution with minimal supervision.\r\nStrong communication, planning, financial management, and problem-solving skills.\r\nMust be able to work full-time, W2, onsite in El Segundo, CA.\r\nPreferred qualificationsAerospace, defense, investment casting, or advanced-manufacturing construction experience.\r\nExperience with large-scale factory construction and manufacturing expansions.\r\nPMP certification or experience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing startup.\r\nAdditional requirementsMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends and travel to future manufacturing sites as needed.\r\nCompensationPlease note that the compensation information below is a general guideline.
