Strategic Finance Lead | AI scaleup | NYC Onsite 5 days p/w, Midtown Manhattan $180k - $220k + equityTalentedge are excited to be partnering with a hyper-growth AI scaleup (fastest growing globally in this category) who are backed by global Tier 1 VCs on their first dedicated strategic finance hire. To provide context in terms of scale, in the last three months headcount has increased from 100-250 people, and they are conservatively forecasting to be 500 by the end of the year, including international hires.Working directly with a fantastic Head of Finance (IB background + hyper-growth AI operator experience), you will build the strategic / commercial finance, business partnering and FP&A infrastructure from the ground up.Role:Support Head of Finance with future fundraising activitiesBuild and own the budgeting, forecasting and planning processTrack and analyse KPIs to support commercial decision makingPartner cross-functionally, with a particular focus on GTM and Product & EngineeringUse your analysis and models to drive forward business decision making, including new product enhancements and rollouts as well as geographical expansionCandidate profile:Investment banking with a strong educational backgroundStrategic finance operator experience within a hyper-growth SaaS environmentEstablished cross-functional business partner who is confident advising, challenging and influencing senior stakeholdersCurious and inquisitive in natureTalentedge are a leading finance recruiter for the tech and media startup & scaleup community across New York and London.
