This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in heavy equipment operation, materials handling, and warehouse management systems while contributing to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.\nResponsibilities\nLoad and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, forklifts, and cranes, adhering to safety protocols.\nPerform order picking with RF scanners and other warehouse management system tools to ensure accurate fulfillment.\nOperate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks safely and efficiently.\nHandle materials with care during shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper storage and inventory accuracy.\nAssist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records.\nSupport warehouse supervisors in maintaining a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and reporting hazards.\nParticipate in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely movement of goods while minimizing damage.\nUse mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance when necessary.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse distribution processes.\nQualifications\nPrior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.\nProficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.\nFamiliarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory control.\nKnowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments.\nStrong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or moving.\nBasic understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling, and load/unload operations.\nExcellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. This position is vital for maintaining operational excellence within our warehouse.
