As the backbone of cloud services, a KS2 Cloud Operations Engineer is pivotal in enabling KS2 to leverage the power of the cloud for scalable, on-demand computing solutions.\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\n5+ years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience\n5+ years Monitoring cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security\n5+ years designing and implementing automation scripts to streamline operations\n5+ years conducting performance analysis and optimizing resource utilization\n5+ years managing cloud infrastructure and services with minimal supervision\n5+ years collaborating with development teams to facilitate CI/CD pipelines\n5+ years contributing to disaster recovery planning and execution\n5+ years leading root cause analysis for service interruptions\n5+ years participating in strategic projects to enhance cloud capabilities\nWhat You'll Do:\nMonitoring cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security\nImplementing and managing cloud environment configurations, including scaling and automation\nResponding to and resolving operational incidents, and participating in post-mortem analysis\nConducting proactive system maintenance, including updates and patches\nEnsuring disaster recovery and backup procedures are in place and effective\nOptimizing cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance\nCollaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps practices\nEnforcing compliance with cloud security policies and best practices\nAssisting with the design and deployment of new cloud services and architectures\nProviding technical support and guidance to stakeholders and end-users\nDocumenting cloud operations procedures and maintaining system reports\nStaying current with emerging cloud technologies and trends to drive innovation and improvements\n\nEducation:\n4 year College degree or 5 years of direct experience\nACHIEVE AT KS2\nAs a W-2 employee, this position provides a competitive base salary with attractive employee benefits, including participation in our bonus plan. We provide multiple healthcare, dental, and vision benefits and KS2 pays 75% of employee and family coverage. As an eligible employee, you will also be provided with 100% employer paid short-term/long-term disability insurance as well as a company paid life insurance policy.
