The Billing and Pay Specialist plays a key role in keeping our brokerage running smoothly by ensuring customer invoices and carrier settlements are accurate, timely, and on point. On-Site, St. Cloud, MNWhat You'll DoWork closely with internal teams to understand customer billing requirements and make sure invoices meet quality standardsProcess customer invoices promptly after loads are deliveredInvestigate and resolve unbilled loads (you love a good mystery)Process carrier settlements to keep payments timely and relationships strongHandle billing and settlement corrections with accuracy and careRun reports and post invoices daily and monthlyJump in on other projects as needed-teamwork makes it all work What You BringHigh School Diploma required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferredAt least 1 year of experience in billing, accounting, collections, settlements, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of billing, accounts payable, and administrative processesStrong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesA self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independentlyExcellent written, verbal, and listening communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookHigh standards of confidentiality and professionalismA positive, team-first mindset and flexibility to support various projects What's in it for YOU?Competitive hourly salary plus a performance incentive opportunityComprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, long/short-term disability, 401(k), PTO, & more!Opportunities for career growth enterprise wide in a forward-thinking organization! Compensation & Benefits:The anticipated hourly pay range for this position begins at $20.00 - $22.50 per hour. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
