{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8de8a7be7352f4b07a212541","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8de8a7be7352f4b07a212541","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8de8a7be7352f4b07a212541","title":"Water Controller","description":"Primary purpose:\nResponsible for efficiently and thoroughly monitoring the saltwater disposal field locations to ensure that these locations are fully operational, maximizing capabilities/intake along with maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.\n\nEssential duties and responsibilities:\nMonitor and support field activities safety and efficiently.\nUtilize systems and processes for dispatching, monitoring, and control of the disposal systems.\nRespond to alerts/alarms according to Standard Operating Procedures.\nDetect and respond to all infrastructure alerts and escalate to the appropriate parties as necessary.\nHave a working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.\nMonitoring fluid levels of each tank, ensuring safe operations.\nMaintain equipment and fluid levels to ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental agencies.\nCoordinate with trucking companies on delivery of water.\nEnsure smooth transition of shift turnovers through verbal and written communication.\nEnsure ongoing improvement through evaluation of current processes.\nProactively monitor water levels at the site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.\nRecord problems which occur, such as down time, and actions taken.\nProvide management with reports and detail as needed.\nWrite effectively, and understand verbal and written communications, including but not limited to email.\nOccasional but infrequent travel away from the usual assigned work location may be required.\nDeal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.\nSpeak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.\nMaintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.\nWill work non-traditional hours. 12-hour shift rotation is required to maintain a 24x7x365 operation.\nMaintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.\nOther daily, weekly, monthly or special project duties as identified and defined.\n\nEducation:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\n\nExperience/Specific Knowledge:\nIntermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook.\n\nCertifications, Licenses & Registrations:\nMust possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).\n\nCompetencies, Skills & Abilities:\nGood problem-solving skills, including the ability to utilize multiple resources to arrive at a solution.\nStrong customer focus that includes demonstrated and consistent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to quickly analyze changing conditions at the facilities, and make appropriate adjustments within operating parameters.\nAbility to perform the required and expected duties with little or no direct supervision.\nMust be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.\nAbility to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.\nAbility to organize and prioritize daily work.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nAll of the physical requirements listed below are those that may be necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
