If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop your skills in warehouse management and heavy equipment operation, this is the perfect opportunity for you!\nDuties\nLoad and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety standards.\nOperate cranes and other mechanical tools to move large or heavy materials efficiently within the warehouse.\nConduct order picking with RF scanners and pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.\nAssist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are correctly documented and stored.\nMaintain organized storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored safely, and accessible for quick retrieval.\nSupport warehouse distribution activities by load & unload operations, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met.\nFollow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols during all handling activities to promote a safe working environment.\nCollaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall workflow efficiency.\nUse warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, update records, and manage stock movements effectively.\nExperience\nPrior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is highly preferred.\nHands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks is essential.\nKnowledge of warehouse safety standards set by OSHA or similar organizations is required.\nFamiliarity with materials handling techniques and equipment operation in construction or industrial settings is advantageous.\nExperience with shipping & receiving processes and inventory management systems will help ensure smooth operations.\nPrevious roles involving order picking using RF scanners or other digital tools demonstrate your ability to work efficiently in a modern warehouse environment.\nWarehouse supervisor experience or leadership roles are a plus, showcasing your ability to oversee operations and mentor team members.
