Claude Code Architect

Avanciers is seeking a highly skilled Architect (Claude Code) to join our team for an exciting long-term contract with one of our esteemed clients, based in Parsippany, NJ (Hybrid)Role OverviewClaude Code CLI Mastery: Deep expertise utilizing the Claude Code CLI, including managing slash commands, configuring environment hooks, adjusting settings, and implementing IDE integrations. Agentic SDK Development: Hands-on experience building autonomous agents with the Anthropic Claude Agent SDK and Anthropic API, specifically leveraging tool use, multi-turn loops, and computer use. 8+ years of software engineering experience and strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript. Strong background in data engineering: ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, SQL, and data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Databricks preferred). Advanced Prompt Engineering: Proven capability in advanced prompting techniques, including system prompts, few-shot examples, chain-of-thought engineering, agent personas, and strict XML-structured outputs. Plugin and Workflow Design: Familiarity with the Claude Code plugin ecosystem, creating custom agentic skills, and orchestrating complex multi-agent workflows.
