We have Retail Locations in both Nassau and Suffolk County Long Island!POSITIONRetail Store ManagementSUMMARY OF ROLEThe Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager support the Retail Management team in overseeing store operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store meets company standards.RESPONSIBILITIESThe Store Manager is responsible for the following:Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnelMaintain up-to-date product inventory sheets and pick listsMaintain backstock in a neat, clean, and organized mannerInterview and select candidates; oversee a team of retail associatesCreate and maintain schedules for all retail associatesDelegate responsibilities to retail associatesSupervise and guide staff toward maximum performancePrepare and control the store’s budget, aiming for minimum expenditure and maximum efficiencyMonitor stock levels and purchases to ensure they stay within budgetAddress customer complaints to maintain the store’s reputationInspect store areas and resolve any issues that arisePlan and oversee in-store promotional events and displaysStay informed on market trends to identify opportunities for improvementAssist in analyzing sales and revenue reports and making forecastsEnsure the store follows all safety guidelines, including proper opening and closing proceduresContribute to a positive work environmentPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.EXPERIENCE2 years of relevant experience preferred.SKILLSAbility to effectively manage cash handling, cash registers, and inventory controlStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse teamAbility to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisionsAbility to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales growthPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSStanding or sitting for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs.Repetitive wrist motionAudible recognition of alarmsWEEKLY SCHEDULEVariable based on business needsShifts may extend until work is completed
