DisruptiX Talent Solutions is working with a client based in Costa Mesa, CAthat is beginning to explore how to modernize its accounting and finance function through automation and AI-driven solutions.This is an early-stage initiative focused on evaluating current processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing tools to enhance workflows, reporting and overall financial operations. The organization is looking to bring in a consultant who can help assess the current environment and contribute to shaping a practical path forward.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate current accounting workflows, close processes, and reporting structuresIdentify opportunities to implement automation and AI-driven solutionsSupport or lead ERP and financial systems enhancements or implementationsBuild and improve reporting, dashboards, and data visibility toolsStreamline processes across month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reportingPartner with leadership to define and support execution of transformation initiativesAssist with data structuring, cleanup, and integration across systemsQualifications5–12+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Financial SystemsExperience in consulting, project-based work, or internal transformation rolesStrong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and data flows across systemsHands-on experience with process improvement, automation, or system implementationsPreferred ExperienceExposure to AI tools or AI-assisted workflows within finance or accountingExperience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, D365, SAP, or SageStrong technical skillset including Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar toolsBackground in finance transformation, FP&A systems, or financial analyticsAbility to operate in unstructured, early-stage environmentsTarget ProfilesFinancial Systems ConsultantsFinance Transformation ManagersControllers or Accounting Managers with strong systems and automation exposureFP&A or Finance Analytics professionals with strong technical backgroundsIf your background aligns with finance, systems, and automation or AI initiatives, we would be interested in connecting to discuss the opportunity further.
