This position requires advanced proficiency in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole assembly processes, along with the ability to interpret technical documentation and ensure high-reliability workmanship standards.\n\nPerform work instructions to complete product assembly and according to standardized work procedures\nBuild assemblies using work instructions, work orders, and drawings as a guide\nMaintain accountability for product and process quality levels and required documentation\nSet up equipment in preparation for production orders\nReceive parts and sub-assemblies in work area\nComplete pre-assembly work if required\nDocument actions by completing production and quality forms\nEnsure that all work meets quality and safety standards and procedures while maintaining clean and safe work\nPerform advanced SMT and through-hole component placement and soldering on complex PCB assemblies\nHand-solder fine-pitch, BGA (as required), and high-density components\nPerform rework and repair of SMT and through-hole assemblies, including component removal and replacement\nInterpret assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), work instructions, and schematics\nInspect assemblies to IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610) and ensure compliance with quality requirements\nMaintain ESD compliance and proper handling of sensitive components\nAccurately document production activity and quality records\n\nExperience:\n\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience in area of responsibility.\n5+ years of experience in SMT and through-hole PCB assembly\nAdvanced hand-soldering skills (fine-pitch and micro-components)\nIPC-610A Certificate preferred.
