Your expertise as a Registered Nurse will empower this young learner to access her education safely and comfortably.Position DetailsFull-time, 35 hours per weekMonday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pmWork closely with one preschool student, ensuring seamless care throughout the school dayAccompany the student on the bus to and from schoolKey QualificationsActive RN license requiredPrevious experience in school or pediatric nursing strongly preferredProficiency with trach care and airway managementSkilled in performing tracheal suctioning as neededCapable of managing and monitoring prescribed oxygen therapyExperience with enteral feeding tube care, feedings, and medication administrationCompassionate, reliable, and able to create a supportive environment for a preschool studentResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain the student's respiratory status throughout the dayProvide ongoing trach care, suctioning, and oxygen therapy per physician ordersAdminister feedings and medications via an enteral feeding tube with precision and careDocument health status, interventions, and progress, communicating regularly with the student's family and school teamsEnsure a safe and nurturing atmosphere during school hours and transportationThis rewarding role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a child’s daily life by providing critical nursing support.
