Operators will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform all lay-up process steps\nLearn press operations. Including set ups, loading & unloading, normal shutdown, and emergency shutdown\nPerform Plasma & Etch Back processes\nPerform Breakdown process\nMonitors and produces quality product. This is done by following all processing instruction.\nReceives and sorts core layers, gathers other production materials, performs lay-up operation on panels by following all instructions.\nOperates Lamination presses, breaks down pressed panels, rout and inspect pressed panels.\nFollows all work instructions to accurately tack and press coverlay materials to core layers.\nComplete all internal departmental documentation accurately including travelers, daily preventative maintenance logs and heat rise press cycle charting\nRead and interpret shop traveler to verify count and quality of previous process steps is met\nRead and interpret stack-up/construction and documented instructions or notes for special requirements\nEnter jobs and quality information in the Manufacturing Control System.\nImmediately communicate to your Supervisor, Manager or Process Engineer any discrepancies found in materials, product, or equipment\nMaintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace\nFollow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals\nN ote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel.
