Opportunities may range from individual project assignments to longer-term consulting engagements.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Reliability Engineer with Implementation Engineers, you'll work alongside client maintenance and operations teams to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of critical mining assets. Responsibilities may include:\nDevelop, optimize, and sustain preventive maintenance (PM) strategies for mobile and fixed plant equipment.\nLead Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to identify equipment failure modes and implement sustainable corrective actions.\nImprove asset reliability for crushing, conveying, grinding, flotation, dewatering, pumping, material handling, and other mineral processing systems.\nAnalyze equipment performance, maintenance history, and reliability KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and reduce unplanned downtime.\nPartner with maintenance planners, supervisors, operations, and engineering teams to prioritize reliability initiatives and improve work execution.\nSupport equipment criticality assessments, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) activities.\nUtilize CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar) to optimize maintenance strategies and improve asset performance.\nParticipate in shutdown planning, reliability improvement projects, bad actor elimination, and defect elimination initiatives.\nProvide day-to-day reliability engineering support for heavy industrial equipment, including rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, crushers, mills, and associated process systems.\nPromote safe work practices while delivering practical, data-driven solutions that improve equipment availability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mining, or related Engineering discipline,\n10+ years of Reliability Engineering experience within heavy industrial environments.\nExperience supporting open-pit or underground mining operations, concentrators, mills, smelters, or other heavy industrial processing facilities.\nExperience with rotating equipment, conveyors, crushers, mills, pumps, slurry systems, mobile mining equipment, or mineral processing assets.\nMSHA certification or previous experience working at MSHA-regulated mine sites.\nStrong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.\nExperience leading or facilitating Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA).\nExperience developing and optimizing Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs.\nStrong communication and client-facing consulting skills.\nAbility to work full-time on-site for the duration of the engagement.\nPreferred\nCopper, gold, or other hard-rock mining experience\nMSHA certification (current or previous)\nExperience with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar)\nVibration analysis, lubrication, predictive maintenance, or condition monitoring experience\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience\nIdeal Candidate\nWe're looking for engineers who thrive in challenging industrial environments and enjoy solving complex reliability problems.
