Essential Functions:\nFinancial Operations & Reporting\nDirect all accounting activities, including preparation, reconciliation, and analysis of monthly balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and financial reporting for both Tenfold and Tenfold Community Lending.\nPrepare and present financial reports to the Board Finance Committee.\nEnsure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial statements and regulatory filings.\nManage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury functions to optimize financial performance.\nReview monthly accounts receivable and accounts payable reports for any long outstanding items.\nCreate grant budgets prepared by the Development Team/Accounting Specialist for accuracy.\nEnsure accurate entry of all grants and contracts into the grant management tracker.\nOversee biweekly payroll, all tax filings, 403(b) retirement plan, and unemployment reporting.\nBudgeting and Resource Management\nDevelop, monitor, and report on annual operating, capital, reserve, and trust fund budgets.\nManage revenues and expenditures across all funds and departments.\nCreate and reconcile contracts and grant proposal budgets.\nRisk Management and Compliance\nIdentify financial risks and implement controls to safeguard assets.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies.\nPrepare for and assist outside auditors to complete audits and tax returns.\nTeam Leadership and Collaboration\nBuild and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of integrity, empowerment and continuous improvement.\nSelect, supervise, and evaluate direct reports, including Internal and External Accounting Teams.\nDetermine the training needs and opportunities for the support department.\nCollaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives and drive operational efficiency.\nInnovation and Technology\nChampion digital transformation in finance, leveraging AI-drive planning and modern financial systems.\nEvaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance reporting, forecasting, and compliance.\nC. Supervision Exercised:\nSupervise the Internal and External Accounting Teams\nD. Supervision Received:\nReports to Chief Executive Officer\nE. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Accounting/Finance) preferred.\nCPA or CFA license is strongly preferred.\nMinimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or lending, with experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, and team management.\nExpertise in GAAP principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for both nonprofit and lending environments.\nProficient in QuickBooks Online and Grant/Contract compliance.\nProficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting/financial systems; Power BI.\nStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nCommitment to helping less fortunate individuals.
