Senior Accounting Research Analyst
System One is assisting a Tulsa company with a search for a Senior Accounting Research Analyst. This role will play a highly visible part in evaluating complex technical accounting matters, documenting conclusions, and partnering cross-functionally to support significant transactions and reporting needs. Hybrid work model.ResponsibilitiesResearch and resolve complex accounting issues; document conclusions in technical accounting memosSupport technical areas including business combinations, revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, and consolidationAssist with implementation of new accounting standards and communicate impacts to stakeholdersLiaise with external auditors providing support for key accounting conclusionsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting policy, internal controls, processes, and use of technologyAdvise on transaction structuring to achieve desired accounting outcomes in accordance with GAAPProvide training/education on significant accounting matters and new standardsSupport standalone GAAP reporting related to joint venturesServe as an internal SME for complex, high-visibility, non-routine transactionsSupport peak reporting cycles as needed (occasional evenings/weekends)RequirementsBachelor’s degree plus 6–10 years of accounting experience, CPA and public accounting audit experience strongly preferredKnowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficiency with Excel and comfortable with computer systemsStrong work ethic with a great attitudeSalary: $120K – $160K, depending on experienceRef: #208-Rowland Tulsa
