{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"8d6a322c4d4845f22dc90f13","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8d6a322c4d4845f22dc90f13","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/8d6a322c4d4845f22dc90f13","title":"Field Technical Service Representative","description":"Overview:\nCome bring your skills to Sharp and make an impact on our winning team!\n\nGreat opportunity with Sharp Business Systems for a Field Service Technician, primarily in the CHARLOTTE BRANCH area but may travel outside on occasion.\n\nUnder the direct supervision of the Branch Field Service Manager, the Field Service Representative (1) is responsible for properly maintaining a territory of Sharp equipment along with maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through proper communications and maintenance of equipment.\nResponsibilities:\nPrimary responsibilities of this position include the installation, maintenance, and repair of a multifaceted offering of office equipment.\nThis includes multifunction copy/print devices, stand-alone copy and print devices and conference room visual presentation solutions (Pro AV).\nAll devices supported may involve network integration with the customer’s network and communicate with other devices within the customer’s operating environment.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent mandatory.\nTechnical vocational schooling desirable (electronics or electro-mechanical preferred), or experience in copier repair or repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.\nMust possess or achieve Comptia A+ certification within one (1) year of hire.\nMust possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude.\nMust successfully complete Sharp equipment pre-testing and training.\nKnowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred.\nValid Drivers License, and Automobile insurance within company guidelines.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\n\nMust be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.\nRequires frequent kneeling and bending and considerable use of hands and tools. Walking great lengths at a time.\nFrequently requires moving or lifting of up to 50 pounds and able to lift 75 on occasion.\nExposure to live electrical circuits.\nExposure to extreme environmental conditions.
