We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives. *Candidates must have managerial experience and experience working with this population.\nEssential Duties:\nResponsible for assisting with all hands-on direct care which includes but not limited to: showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, meal-time assistance\nHandles all aspects of staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management.\nCase Management; develops and implements all aspects of ISPs, schedules medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.\nCompletes or delegates the completion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: staff payroll, updating of manuals and approval/ reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts and representative payee accounts.\nConducts and supervises the teaching of activities of daily living, including but not limited to: social skills, personal routines, financial management.\nServes as a liaison between Agency and the individuals’ family, friends and guardians.\nImplements and oversees the implementation of behavioral interventions.\nImplements and oversees the implementation of emergency procedures that ensure the safety of the individuals, both in the home and within the community.\nAdministers and oversees the timely and accurate administration and documentation of administration of medication(s).\nMaintains a physically safe work environment and reports work related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management.\nRequirements:\nExperience managing a group home\nExperience working with Individuals with ID/DD\nBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; related experience preferred\nMust be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks\nValid Driver's License required\nValid MAP certification, or willing to get certified within 3 months of employment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent Benefits package that includes:\n403(B) matching up to 3%\n$2,000.00 Staff Retention Bonus after 1 year**\nHealth Insurance with 2 plan choices and a 75% employer contribution\n4.4 weeks of Paid Time Off in your first year of employment\nLong-Term Disability insurance & Life Insurance free for employees\nTuition reimbursement\nFlexible spending account\nLifeworks, Inc. believes diversity strengthens the value of our workplace and communities.
