HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and effectively in the field, ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Duties - Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components. - Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and heating equipment. - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems. - Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. - Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. - Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. - Operate company vehicles for field service calls as required. Requirements - Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. - Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including ammonia refrigeration and appliance repair. - Ability to plumb and perform mechanical repairs as needed. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively. - Familiarity with safety protocols related to HVAC work. - Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory.
