Health & Safety SpecialistAs a Health & Safety Specialist, you will provide essential support for electrical commissioning work. Your role will include inspecting, clearing punches, managing EQ startups, overseeing electrical commissioning, and ensuring energization within the project. Documentation is a crucial part of this role, as you will collaborate with the onsite supervisor to ensure health and safety requirements are met and maintained for approximately 16-20 individuals.ResponsibilitiesInspect and clear punches related to electrical commissioning work.Manage EQ startups and oversee electrical commissioning and energization processes.Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements for project personnel.Partner with onsite supervisors to maintain a safe working environment.Document health and safety procedures effectively.Essential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.5+ years of experience in health and safety roles.Strong understanding and application of safety regulations and compliance.Passion for health and safety in the workplace.Additional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 30 certification or higher, with a focus on construction.Valid driver's license.Steel toe boots required (contractor provides).Forklift certification is advantageous.Why Work Here?Working here offers the chance to contribute to a culture that prioritizes safety and compliance.
