Duties: coach and train entry-level Hardware Engineers; develop process improvement and implementation plans; develop electronic platforms and motor controls; act as lead product design engineer for electronic applications; mentor junior Hardware Engineers to solve complex problems; perform root cause analysis and error correction of system level problems relating to hardware, controls, firmware, and architecture; stay abreast of new technology and competitors' products; suggest hardware procedure enhancements; share lessons learned. Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related field, and 4 years of experience (gained at any time) in any engineering or technical role which included at least one of the skills listed below. Included within the 4 years of experience, must have experience in all of the following: communication and computer hardware interface; design tools (PSpice, MATLAB, or Mathcad); OEM standards and EMC design guidelines; electronic platform design; test setup and hardware connections; field testing and troubleshooting.
