Project Engineer / Project Manager

ResponsibilitiesDesign, manage, and produce construction plans for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and educational developmentsCoordinate with and mentor EITs and civil designersCoordinate project design with internal design teamsPrepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid specificationsPerform site visits to verify field conditions and monitor construction progressReview and process contractor submittalsPrepare site investigation and development feasibility reportsMaintain project documentationAssist in developing project scopes and schedulesCommunicate effectively and maintain strong client relationshipsPerform quantity takeoffs, shop drawing reviews, and prepare bid specificationsConduct quality control reviews of design projectsPresent projects to clients, agencies, municipalities, and the general publicRequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalentRegistered Professional Engineer within the state2-15 years of relevant experienceExcellent time management, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to remain focused and confident under tight deadlines and changing workloadsProficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and related design software
