They work closely with members across teams and with business owners and leaders. In conjunction with development responsibilities, the Lead Developer establishes and champions best practices and processes for development and First Command’s SDLC. They work alongside Architect and Lead roles to define, lead, and assist in vision and design of business solutions, and they are drivers of improvement for our processes and technical practices. A Lead Developer is a person who needs little to no supervision or oversight.
