This role designs, builds, and integrates automation solutions using established RPA platforms while enabling advanced capabilities through Azure AI and/or Google Vertex AI where appropriate.\n\nThe role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, automation developers, and AI platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions. With guidance, the engineer recommends solution approaches and provides technical direction across the development lifecycle, including configuration, testing, and implementation, ensuring high-quality solutions delivered on time and within budget. Adherence to Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, security and risk management practices, change management, and continuous improvement is a core expectation of the role.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nDevelop, configure, test, and deploy automation solutions that align with business needs.\n\nProvide support, root cause analysis, and debugging to meet SLAs.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate solutions with existing systems.\n\nCommunicate with diverse audiences and support automation portfolios.\n\nEnsure compliance with standards, security, and change management.\n\nPartner with teammates to develop, configure, test, and implement processes to meet the defined and anticipated requirements with high-quality builds on time and on budget.\n\nFacilitate cross-functional meetings to accomplish objectives or resolve issues.\n\nParticipate in Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements and manage change effectively.\n\nPossess familiarity with cloud architectures and AI/ML service consumption patterns.\n\nComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nHandson experience with Automation Anywhere (A360) RPA platform\n\nExperience with process simulations/automation, solution development and/or business analysis\n\nFamiliarity with Intelligent Document Processing tools such as ABBYY or equivalent OCR/IDP technologies\n\nUnderstanding system integration concepts, including REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, and error handling\n\nWorking knowledge of process engineering software systems\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience integrating with Azure AI services and/or Google Vertex AI (preferred)\n\nExperience or knowledge in a banking/financial services industry (preferred)\n\nSkills\n\nLeverage platforms to rapidly develop and deploy business solutions.\n\nParticipate in Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements and manage change effectively.\n\nEnsuring solutions adhere to IT policies, change management, and security standards.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to successfully facilitate meetings - including information sharing and call to action outcomes.\n\nTroubleshoot issues by gathering, interpreting and analyzing data and recommending solutions. Analytical thinker and problem-solver.\n\nAbility to use tools to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.\n\nSupport multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities concurrently.\n\nDesign and implement automation solutions using platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.\n\nStaying current with emerging technologies and continuously improving solution design.\n\nThis position is NOT eligible for employment visa sponsorship for non-U.S. citizens.\n\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $69,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based on various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
