This role is responsible for creating and delivering engaging, effective training that builds technical capability, strengthens leadership skills, and reinforces Interstates' standards and best practices across our design teams. The ideal candidate combines strong VDC/MEP technical expertise with the ability to teach, coach, and facilitate learning for adult audiences. This position works closely with project leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and design teams to create learning experiences that improve consistency, quality, confidence, and performance across design services.\r\nWhat You'll Do\r\n\r\nDevelop, administer, and continuously improve Interstates' technical training programs\r\nIdentify, develop, and deliver technical training to meet personnel needs and certification requirements\r\nPlan, direct, and facilitate training through classroom, hands-on, virtual, e-learning, workshop, and simulator-based methods\r\nPrepare course agendas, training materials, and instructor resources\r\nConduct presentations and lead training sessions for a variety of audiences\r\nTrain and develop SMEs to support course facilitation and knowledge transfer\r\nCreate instructional materials, course outlines, training aids, and supporting documentation\r\nPartner with project leaders, SMEs, and design teams to align training with business needs and evolving industry practices\r\nSupport the Training Team as needed based on business priorities and regulatory requirements\r\nContinuously improve instructional delivery, presentation skills, and training effectiveness\r\n\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree in Education or Associate degree in a relevant technical field such as Electrical Construction, Automation, Manufacturing, Drafting, or Safety\r\n3-5 years of adult training experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\r\nStrong technical experience in VDC and/or MEP\r\nRevit proficiency is strongly preferred\r\nExperience with tools such as Bluebeam, Revizto, Inventor, and Microsoft Office tools\r\nExperience with assembly-based workflows inside Revit is a plus\r\nStrong public speaking, presentation, and group facilitation skills\r\nAbility to train adults and develop SMEs\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nAbility to write reports, manuals, and business correspondence\r\nComfort presenting to managers, clients, and general audiences\r\nStrong reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational skills\r\nAbility to interpret technical procedures, regulations, and instructions\r\nWillingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed\r\nPositive, professional demeanor and a commitment to ongoing development\r\n\r\nWhy Interstates\r\nAt Interstates, we believe training is a key part of building capable teams and delivering great work.
