The candidate will closely coordinate theactivities with GE Engineering team.Job DescriptionMain responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsible for the Engineering of the Substation Automation Systems (DCS ). Responsible for the Engineering of the Protection. Participate in technical activities for assigned projects. Design of the Substation LAN networks / Communication Architectures andconfiguration of industrial ethernet switches / routers and satellite clocks.Qualifications/Requirements Knowledge of Sequencing & interlocking principles used in substation automationsystems. Knowledge of communication/Automation protocols Good knowledge and use of CAD software’s such as AutoCAD, MS-VISIO. Excellent in MS-Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Fluent in English and Arabic languages. (oral, reading and writing)Desired Characteristics Fast learner, willing to learn new technologies improve his technical capabilities. Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creativesolutions that result in higher profitability, increased visibility & market penetration.
