Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\n\nCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level software engineer who shall be responsible for developing and maintaining system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nSeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools\nProficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes\nRecent software development experience using Python\nRecent software development experience using Rust\nExperience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment\nExperience developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environment\nBasic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI\nFamiliar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies\nExperience with Git Source Control System\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containers\nExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
